Domain reservation is made by zone administration. As a rule, these are domain names similar to famous trademarks, worldwide companies-manufacturers, organizations of Republic of Tajikistan. For instance, google.tj domain can be registered only by Google company owner.

The need of such limitations is obvious: when some disputable situations occur in trials such domain will become the property of trademark owner by the court decision. In order to prevent third parties who registered domain for reselling on secondary market from losses, zone administration has reserved domains that can be registered by companies and trademarks owners if such need occurs.
